ACCELL 6th Grade

This class is designed to help you pass the TAKS. We will be doing basic computations and developing problem solving skills.

I don't assign homework, unless someone is not performing in class. Otherwise, all work will be done in class.

Georgetown ISD is pleased to announce the launch of ParentCONNECT, a new service which will provide you with secure web-based access to key information on your child. With a ParentCONNECT account and Internet access, you will be able to easily monitor your child’s:

Progress Report Grades
Report Card Grades
Attendance Record
Residence and Mailing Addresses
Emergency Contact Information

The process for receiving access to your student’s information will be as follows:

From our campus home page, click the ParentCONNECT link.
Click on the Register button on the ParentCONNECT web page.
Complete the online registration form.
For security reasons, your next step is to visit the office at your child’s campus and complete the ParentCONNECT verification form. Photo identification will be required.
Office personnel will verify your registration and give you a UserID and password for accessing your student’s information.

We're moving beyond the PreTest to working on the basic math operations: add, subtract, multiple and divide. When we get those down, we'll be moving ahead. These are the "basics" that everyone will need to be able to do, before they can proceed from the easier problems to some that are more difficult.
