Mrs. Jackie Fullerton

Mrs. Fullerton started her education in Round Rock ISD schools.  She graduated from Mc Neil High School, and then moved to Lubbock, Texas.  While attending Texas Tech University, she was actively involved with the Goin' Band from Raider Land, Symphony Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble.  She taught privately for Oboe students throughout the region, and master classes for many of the area high schools.  Mrs. Fullerton has also performed with the Lubbock Symphony, as well as other professional groups.  While in school, Mrs. Fullerton received many honors, such as Golden Key National Honor Society, Presidents List, Deans list, and Pi Kappa Lambda.   In May of 2001, she received her Bachelors degree in Music Education, and Oboe Performance, with Magna Cum Laude Honors from Texas Tech University.  

After graduation, she was hired by Georgetown ISD, for the assistant band director position at Forbes Middle School.  This is Mrs. Fullerton's eighth year at Forbes Middle School, and sixth year as head band director. 

Under the direction of Mrs. Fullerton, the Forbes Middle School Honor Band placed 7th in the CC State Honor Band competition in 2004, best overall middle school band at DC festivals, and has won multiple sweepstakes awards at UIL. Mrs. Fullerton is a member of: Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Texas Music Adjudicators Association. 

When not in the band hall, Mrs. Fullerton enjoys spending time with her husband Marc, and her dog Nala. 

          

 

Mrs. Lauren (Park) Esparza

Mrs. Esparza is in her fourth year of teaching at Forbes Middle School.  Mrs. Esparza is a graduate of Texas State University San Marcos where she received her Bachelors in Music Education in 2006.  While at Texas State, Mrs. Esparza performed with the Texas State Pride of the Hill Country Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Horn Ensemble, and Brass Quintet.  She was Principal Horn of the Symphonic Band and Assistant Principal Horn of the Texas State Symphony Orchestra. 
 
During the Spring 2005 semester Mrs. Esparza had the pleasure of performing with the TSSO on their Galaxy tour where they played at the Meyerson Center in Dallas, Baylor University, Hays Performing Arts Center and then ended at the Lila Crockwell Theater for their final performance at the TMEA convention in San Antonio.  Mrs. Esparza was also a member of CenTex Brass Quintet which performed at weddings and events around the central Texas area
.

Mrs. Esparza is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity for Women, Delta Gamma Sorority, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Rho Lambda Honor Society for Greek Affiliated Women, Who’s Who Among College Students, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, as well as Women Band Directors International (WBDI). 

During her time off, Mrs. Esparza enjoys photography and spending time with her husband and her dog, Bandit.
