• My research topic Nelson Mandela.
• Some key word used where Nelson Mandela in south Africa, help stop apartheid.

What did this person do that was or is important to Africa?

• Nelson Mandela help the black  Africans struggle for  justice.
•  He brought an end to Apartheid .
• He established  a nonracial system of government.
• He spoke to world leaders and helped Africans  slave get out of  slavery.

Why is Nelson Mandela important in Africa ? What is some  back ground information about him.

• He was born in 1918 in a little village in Africa.
• He is still alive today and has not died yet.
• He was married two times one of his wives names was Winnie who he divorced in 1996.
• Then his second wife was named Evelyn stayed home with their three kids. 
• He attended school at the university of Fort Hare.
• His title was the President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

What did this person solve or create in Africa?

• The way he helped solve things was  Anti-apartheid.
• But he was in jail by the whites in power for doing the right thing.
• He was in jail from 1960 to1990 at Robben Island.
• When  he was released he joined Bishop Tutu.
• On July 18,2007 Mandela and Desmond Tutu went to a group of world leaders to ask for help in South Africa.

 How did Nelson Mandela affect the people who live in African.

•  Nelson Mandela help people live better by ending apartheid.
•  He  talked to the  world  to bring attention to the problems faced by black South Africans.
•  He helped organized peaceful protests against unfair  black laws. 

What does the rest of the world [not Africans] think of Nelson Mandela? What is the global reaction to  him?

• They think the is a great man who tried to help lots of people and was successful.
• He suffered a lot for his country.
• He met with a lot of world leaders to get help with the bad stuff that was going on in South Africa.

What could or was done to help the problem encountered by Nelson Mandela ? what is being done to correct? 

•  The world needs to not buy products or trade with countries that mistreat blacks or other minorities.

What is my personal opinion of Nelson Mandela ? How do I react to Nelson Mandela?

• I think that Nelson Mandela is a great man.
• I hope one day I can be like him.
• If I  was born when he was in jail , I  would break him out of jail.
