• My research topic is: Civil War in Kenya.
• Some keywords I used to help my research are: Kikuyu, Luo,Tribes,Conflict in Kenya.

What does Civil war in Kenya mean? What is the definition or description of Civil war in Kenya?

• It's when a country splits into groups and have conflicts with each other.
• The Kikuyu and the Luo tribes are fighting in their country.
• The Kikuyu is a bigger population then the Luo.
• They have different languages.
• Also differences in economic and social development led to conflict.

Why is Civil war in Kenya important in Africa?

• It's a bad thing that's happening, but their are some benefits.
• If one side finally rules over, the other might agree with the others way.
• Different tribes are together to push a bigger tribe off their land.
• The injured or homeless can go to the red cross for help.
• The Kikuyu are looking to lose.

Why is Civil war in Kenya a problem or issue in Africa?

• It has killed more than 300,000 people.
• They're not letting up in the violence.
• It encourages mobs to be violent.
• Lots of the violence goes on in Nairobi.
• The millions of people who live in shacks have limited places to run.

How does Civil war in Kenya affect the people who live in Africa?

• They are split up into more then 100 different ethnic groups.
• The different groups have different religions like Christianity and Islam.
• They also make really different crafts and jewelry.
• The towns people lose homes because of raids.
• Jomo Kenyatta help organize the Kikuyu tribe.

What does the rest of the world think about the Civil war in Kenya? What is the global reaction to the Civil war in Kenya?

• Americans try and help with the conflict by sending troops over to Kenya.
• Countries want to try and help them.
• The world is frightened that this is happening.
• They are not surprised what's going on with the violence and diversity.
• There looks to be violence in the native tribes land.

What can be done to help the problem of the Civil war in Kenya? What is being done to correct the Civil war in Kenya?

• The government try's to calm people down.
• The red cross sends shelters for the homeless.
• The Kenyan government has troops to stop violence in areas.
• Leaders in Kenya make speeches to war the tribes.
• The Luo is an autonomous political unit, (they are self governed.)

What is my personal opinion of the Civil war in Kenya? How do I react and feel about the Civil war in Kenya?

• I think the Luo should end up ruling over the Kikuyu, if one side would rule over another.
• I also think that they should just settle on their land.
• They should except each others ways.
• They shouldn't be killing their own people.
• The government needs to be together.
