Poaching in Africa

1.  What is my research topic? What are some research keywords?

• My research topic is: Poaching.
• Some keywords I used to help my research are: Poaching, Africa, Illegal Hunting.

2.    What does poaching mean? What is the definition of poaching?

• Poaching means illegal hunting of wild animals.
• Capturing, hurting, and sometimes killing animals for money.
• Most of the time poachers will keep going on even if they get caught.
• Animals go extinct because of this action.
• Some resorts are not as cool such as zoos because there isn't very many animals in them.

3.    Why is poaching important in Africa?

• It's important but not because it's a good thing but because it's a bad thing.
• It's important because people lose their food such as meat and milk.
• Some people lose money in jobs like at a zoo or any other type of animal seeing resorts because there's not as much of them.
• The happiness level is going down because there's not enough animals in Africa.
• The population is also decreasing partly because of this action.

4.    Why is poaching a problem or issue in Africa?

• There's too much poaching going on in Africa.
• People lose their meat and milk.
• The people are becoming unhappy and some people's lives are changing because of poaching.
• Some people lose money because of this because they have jobs in resorts.
• The population is decreasing in people because they're not happy and some people do not have meat and in animals because they're dying.

5.   How does poaching affect the people who live in Africa?

• The poaching hurts and kills animals.
• People have no milk, meat, or clothing.
• More people are dying because of this.
• I bet a lot of people are getting in a lot of trouble for poaching.
• They might get executed and the population will go down.

6.   What does the rest of the world (not Africans) think about poaching? What is the global reaction to poaching?

• The global population is mostly mad except for poachers.
• Some people are trying to stop poachers.
• There's too much of it going on that it's hard to stop poachers.
• The world is confused and mad that poachers would kill harmless animals.
• The world wants all of this to stop!

7.   What can be done to help the problem of poaching? What is being done to correct poaching.

• What we can do is send officers & rangers to keep trailing the forests.
• If we catch them we can send them to jail.
• Right now the officers that are local to the places that poaching is being done are just sending them to jail.
• We should put the animals in a safer natural habitat.
• Either that or send them to other places where poaching is nowhere to be seen.

8.   What is my personal opinion of poaching? how do I react to and feel about poaching?

• I don't like poaching.
• All of the animals are dying because of a couple poachers.
• I feel really sorry for all of the animals .
• I wish the poachers would get a real job .
• Either that or get caught and go to jail.
