1) What is my research topic? What are some keywords I used?

• My research topic is Droughts in Africa.
• The research keywords that helped me are Plant life, No water, Dry.

 2) What does Drought mean? What is the definition or description of droughts?

• Drought a long period of time without rain that is long enough to cause hardships to people, animals, and the plants. And other living things in the environment.

3)Why is droughts important?

• Because the people can not have any water.
•  So they cannot survive.
•  When there is no water the people cannot survive.
• There body's get dry and unhealthy.
• Water is very important to everybody.

4)Why is drought an issue in Africa?

• Because not many people have water to drink when there is a drought.
•  The plant life is very little.
•  When there is no rain there is no plants or animals.
•  It becomes very dry and dusty.
•  The people get dehydrated.

5)Why does drought effect the people in Africa?

• Because they get tired and hot when there is no water or plants or animals.
•  The people start to get dieses like aids.
•  They get sick from dehidration.
• The people have to stay indoors because it is hot and dry.
•  They cannot raise livestock when there is a drought because there is no grass for the animals to eat.

 6)What does the rest of the world (Not Africans) think about Droughts What is the global reaction to Drought

• I feel sad because they are poor and when there is no water they cannot survive.
•  Like the kids there they want nice homes to live in besides old wooden houses.
•  Like mission trips as churches go down to help and spend time with them they bring them cloths to wear.
•  And food to eat.
•  I really we should help them.

7)What can be done to help the problem of Droughts what is being done to correct droughts

•  I think that rain can help the problem of droughts and also people going down there and helping them.
•  The rain would fill up everything.
•  The people would have water to drink.
•  If that would happened that would make everybody more.
•  So then they  could have animals there because there would be grass.

 8)What is my personal opinion of droughts how could I react of feeling about this

• My personal feeling is I like studying about droughts.
•  Because I lied learning about how the people stayed alive When there is no water.
• And how they got water to survive .
• Plant life is also important in droughts.
• When there is no plants and grass there is no animals and when there is no animals you cant eat.
