What does colonialism mean? What is the definition or description of colonialism?

Colonialism means when people use other land for settlement.
The definition of colonialism is the policy or practice by which one country installs a settlement of its people on the lands of another society.

Why is colonialism important in Africa?

Colonialism is important in Africa, because people used other land for its people of another society in another country and that happened a lot in Africa.

Why is colonialism a problem or issue in Africa?

Its a problem in Africa, because people would use their land and the Africans didn't like it.
Other people would use their land for something they needed which is settlement.

How does colonialism affect people that live in Africa?

It affects the people in Africa, because they use other peoples land for their own.
That makes African life change.
They could not move away that much, because there will be no where to go.
It has happened for a long time.
That affects African and not that many people forgot it.

What does the rest of the world (not Africans) think about Colonialism?
