His biography

•  Desmond Tutu was born  October 7 1931.Desmond Tutu went to school in many different places like,  Madibane high, Pretoria Bantu Normal college, St. Peter's theological college and the University of South  Africa. His Family is his wife Lea and  his 3 daughters Mpho, Thandeka and Naomi. and his son Trevor.

What did this person do for Africa?

• He  helped  Nelson Mandela protest and end the problem of apartheid .
•  This got him a Nobel peace prize in 1984 .
•  Together they stopped apartheid by 1994
•  If they had not done that there would still be apartheid today
•  If there was still apartheid I bet he would work hard to stop it.

How did he affect Africa?

• Desmond Tutu affected Africa because he was a big influence on ending apartheid .
• He helped end apartheid by telling Denmark and other countries not to buy South African goods.
•  This was very brave because he could have gone to  jail for it.
•  Desmond Tutu is a big affect on Africa.
•  He is probably one of the most important people in African   history

• the rest of the world thinks Desmond Tutu is great .
• they think this because of his work to end apartheid
•  The global reaction to him is extremely good because he is very hard working person.
•  Desmond Tutu is  and extremely important person in Modern African society.

what helped him end apartheid

•  To end apartheid he got help from Nelson Mandela.
•  They ended it by using nonviolent marches.
• This helped them stop this because they stayed peaceful and didn't fight.
•  And they stopped by getting people to go on strike.
•  Another way is telling other countries not to buy south African goods.

what is my personal opinion of Desmond Tutu

•  My opinion of him is that he is a very dedicated person.
• He is a great person because he was extremely dedicated to ending apartheid in Africa.
• Without him there would still be apartheid .
• He really deserved the prize he got.
