What is my research topic? What are the keywords I used to research?

• My research topic is Civil War in Kenya.
• Some keywords I used to help my research are: Kenya, Luos, Kikuyu, Civil War, and Africa.

What does Civil War mean? What is the definition or description of Civil War?

• Civil War means a war between people in the same country.
• Kikuyus and the Luos are in a major civil war with each other.
• They are both ethnic groups who have different opinions about the British.
• The Luos hate the British for taking their resources.
• The Kikuyus think it is alright for them to steal their resources.

Why is Civil War in Kenya important in Africa?

• It shows what Europe has done to Africa from stealing their resources.
•  They are short on resources and in some places there is none.
•  The Cultural language has changed.
• The ways of life have changed.
• There is civil war everywhere.

Why is Civil War in Kenya a problem in Africa?

• It is turning people in Africa against each other.
• There are at least 40 ethnic groups fighting each other.
• The Kikuyu the largest tribe in Kenya is at a big war with the Luos.
• In February 2008 the Kikuyus killed more than 300 people because of an election.
• These tribes have been in conflicts for years.

How does Civil War in Kenya affect the people who live in Africa?

• It is ruining the lives of people who are not even in the conflict.
• They have to worry every night about a riot breaking out.
• They have to worry is my kid going to come home from school or is he going to be attacked by another tribe member.
• The Kikuyus are the most devastating tribe in Africa.
• Many Africans are being killed for no reason.

What does the rest of (not Africans) think about the Civil War in Kenya? What is the global reaction to Civil War in Kenya?

• Americans are trying to do what they can, but with Kenya so far away.
• Our army is Iraq cant help Kenya.
• In Britain nobody cares, because of the war not to long ago that gave Kenya their independence.
• The government in Asia is probably not doing anything.
• Australia doesn't give a hoot about Kenya.

What can be done to help the problem of the Civil War in Kenya? What is being done to correct the Civil War in Kenya?

• America could send some soldiers of to Kenya to have order.
• The Luos and Kikuyus could find a way to compromise.
• Another way is to is that the Luos and Kikuyus could take their fighting somewhere else.
• Kenya is trying to keep much of it as possible under control.
• Kenya is sending their armies to correct the problem, so if this doesn't stop soon a blood bath is going to occur.

What is my personal opinion of the Civil War in Kenya? How do I react and feel about the Civil War in Kenya.

• I think that the Luos and Kikuyus should get over their differences and become one big tribe.
• I also think the longer this is going on the more casualties there are going to be.
• I really am mad that none of Africa going to help.
• Asia probably Doesn't even know this is going on and they are right next to them.
• America knows but they aren't going to do anything about it because of the war in Iraq.
