1) What is my research topic? What are some keywords I used to research?

• My research topic is Independence Movements in Africa.
• Some keywords I used to help my research is: Independence, Africa, and Movements.

2) What does Independence Movements means? What is the definition or description of Independence Movements?

•  Independence movements means a group of people that try to overrule the ruling government.
• Independence movements- when a country try to win the right to rule itself and control its own affairs.
• I also think it is when countries can agree to their terms too.
•  I think when countries cant agree on subjects then they declare Independence!
• Another description is the people don't want to be controlled that want to have their own government!

3) Why is Independence Movements important in Africa?

• Independence movements are important because, you need freedom.
•  You would not want people to own you.
•  You would not be able to do your actions.
•  You would not be told what to do.
•  Finally it sometimes brings peace.

4) Why is Independence Movements a problem/issue in Africa.

•  Independence Movements are a problem/issue in Africa because, It causes war ( a lot of death).
•  Maybe the other country needs them.
•  Also a lot of things could change.
•  If you don't hurry your country can corrupt.
•  The country can get low on resources and many people can starve/die.

5) How does Independence Movements affect the people who live in Africa?

•  Independence Movements affect people by....
•  Like I said before some people may die, get sick,
•  less trade. Some people may have better lives/worse lives.
•  Some families may split up.
•  Families may have to work to death to live.
•  Children may get less/more education.
•  And many more affects.

6) What does the rest of the world (not Africans) think about Independence Movements? What is the global reaction to Independence Movements?

• The rest of the world thinks.
• That this might be a bad thing.
• That might be a good thing.
• Should we let it go on.
• Should we stop it.
•  Should we support it.
• The global reaction to this is .....
•  Some support and help them out.
•  Some stop them and join the other country or countries.
•  Some just ignore the whole thing.
•  Maybe some just go on with life.

7) What can be done to help the problem of Independence Movements? What is being done to correct Independence Movements?

• The two countries can agree on values. EX: the land.....and still be friends.
•  The people have plantations to split.
•  Then help each other when they need it.
• They can supply each other with food.
• It can be corrected by the government that owns them can make a stronger government.
• That ruling government can agree on independence and give them the land/other important things they want.
•  The ruling government can bribe them .
•  They can offer them valuables.
•  They can work together and build a better city.
•  And finally they can just lower tax prices.

8) What is my personal opinion of Independence Movements? How do I react and feel about Independence Movements?

• My personal opinion is, I think it is ok.
• I want independence for other counties.
• So they can experience things.
• So they are not ruled and owned.
• They can on their lives.
•  I react by, saying cool!
• When I am older I am going to help some country.
• I wonder what it is like being owned.
• I wonder if I was in the country would we go to war.
• I wonder how they would start the Independence Movements.
