Policies and Procedures All students are encouraged to checkout books. Books are due on their library day. Rechecking books is allowed. KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS will check out one book weekly at the beginning of the year. Later, kindergarteners will check out two books, one will be a leveled reading book, and one will be the student's choice. Students can come to the library before school to exchange books. 1ST - 5TH GRADE STUDENTS will check out 2 books weekly. Additional books may be checked out to be used in completing a project. PARENTS are welcome to visit the library and receive a parent library card. Parents may check up to 5 books at a time for a one-week period. OVERDUE NOTICES will be sent home with students. Students with overdue books are expected to return them before checking out additional books. There will be no late fees charged but students are expected to pay for damaged and lost books.
