Book Fairs Our next Book Fair will be March 31-April 4, 2008 !
Ford Library hosts two Scholastic Book Fairs each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Monies earned from the Book Fairs are used to purchase items that are needed for the library.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Wild About Reading! School Wide Reading Program
At Ford, we have an at-home reading program which encourages students to read a minimum of 60 minutes a week. Activities are based around our slogan "Wild About Reading." Students can earn tickets to come to the library and read in the Ford Reading hut for 15 minutes. Many thanks to Mrs. B.J. Macmillan for volunteering to construct our hut!

Watch Dog Dads
We have wonderful dads who come and help out at school. We love having them come to the library and read! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Treasures Under the Tree
During the holidays, special books are placed under the Christmas tree. Students choose a holiday book that the teacher reads to the class. Special holiday boxes are used to wrap the books before they are taken to the classroom, making it a fun surprise reading!
