Important Notes:
·
Water
shutoffs in the vicinity of the
·
The
water shutoffs are necessary to tie-in the new waterlines to the existing water
transmission mains and fire lines at various locations along the project.
·
All
water shutoffs will be done at night from 10:00PM until 5:00AM.
·
The
water tie-ins will be performed in 2 phases.
·
Phase
1 will be on January 11 (with January 12 as a weather back up date), customers
will be without water or have low water pressure. Neighborhoods that will
be affected by the Phase 1 water tie-ins are the areas of:

Phase
2 will be on January 13(with January 14 as a weather back up date), customers
will be without water or have low water pressure. Neighborhoods that will
be affected by the Phase 2 water tie-ins are the areas of:
·
Chisholm
Trail SUD will be sending out notification to the customers affected as well.
·
Weather
that would prevent the work from being done are freezing temperatures and/or
rain.
·
We
are working to get all of the work done well within the time allotted.
·
After
this work, the waterline utility will be clear of any construction conflicts
Progress on last week’s
schedule:
·
Installed 24”
waterline to near Casa Loma East entrance
·
Worked to excavate,
investigate and prepare for water tie-ins to transmission mains for next week
·
Installed Pressure
release valve vault along 4TRanch Road
·
Began work on crossing
Olde Oak with waterline encasement pipe (one lane of access will be maintained
at all times, roadway will be back to full width at end of work day, task will
take a few days to complete)
·
Placed concrete riprap
on backslope of ditch along south right of way across from
Work Scheduled for this week:
·
Will make final
waterline tie-ins to transmission mains Monday night and Wednesday night
(weather permitting, Tuesday and Thursday are backup nights for this work)
·
Work on excavation and
embankment in front of
·
Construct box culvert
end treatments at Del Webb
·
Form up and pour
concrete riprap along south right of way west of Jim Hogg
·
Continue with
installation of 24” waterlines at remaining locations at Olde Oak and Wildwood
·
Relocation fire
hydrant east of BB’s Restaurant along north right of way
General Notes:
·
Verizon, Suddenlink,
and PEC have not completed their utility relocation and are still affecting
road construction in various locations. Efforts are being made to work
around these conflicts to keep the roadway construction progressing.
·
Work on the east end
of the project is scheduled to begin when a second dirt crew is added to the
project on January 18th.
Utility Update:
· PEC - is substantially complete. PEC is currently working
to set the remaining poles. Waiting for Verizon.
Suddenlink - is substantially
complete. They are scheduled to clear the raiser pole across the street
from the Scott & White entrance the first week in January. The
reminder of their work from McDonalds storage west to FM 3405 will follow
afterwards. Waiting for Verizon.
· Verizon - has cleared most of their aerial facilities
from Jim Hogg west to FM 3405. They are continuing to work on the
remainder of the project in order to finalize their relocation efforts.
· Atmos - Complete
