My name is Mary Mikeska
and I am a first grade teacher at Ford Elementary. I have been
teaching first grade at Ford since Ford Elementary opened. This is
my 25th year to teach. I have taught first grade for 19 of those
years. I love first graders and teaching the first grade curriculum.
I have also taught at Annie Purl and Village Elementary School here in
Georgetown.My family has lived in Georgetown for 14
years and we enjoy the lifestyle here. My son, Andrew, is a junior
this year at Georgetown High School. He has attended Georgetown
schools all his life. My step-son is 27 years old and is attending his
first year of law school at Tulane University. My husband, Nelson,
works at Dell Computers in Round Rock.
I really enjoy getting to know my students and their
