Gifted/Talented
Child Find Campaign
The major GISD
Gifted/Talented Child Find Campaign will be from
October 16-November 17,
2009 for grades
K-5.
During this time
counselors will receive referrals for student
evaluation.
Referrals may come from
parents, teachers, and other adults
knowledgeable of
student's ability. Parent packets for student
referral may be obtained
from the counselor's office but please
talk to your child's
teacher before obtaining a packet.
All testing will take
place at the beginning of the second semester
for kindergarten, first
and second grades.
Please have all referral
information to your campus counselor by
November 17, 2009.
