Welcome to Georgetown Alternative Program

The Georgetown Alternative Program (GAP) is the Discipline Alternative Education Program (DAEP) for Georgetown ISD students in grades 6-12.  Students are placed in the GAP for violating the secondary schools' Student Code of Conduct.

  • Moody's Upgrades GISD

    A national independent credit rating agency, Moody's Investors Service, has upgraded Georgetown Independent School District’s debt rating from Aa2 to Aa1.

  • Rezoning Update

    Based on our original rezoning timeline, we intended to bring proposed attendance zones to the Board for approval at the January School Board meeting. However, additional time is needed to respond to questions and feedback received online and at the public meetings held on January 5 and January 10.
