Welcome to my home page!  I am an English II teacher at Georgetown High School.

Education & Teaching Background:

  • BA Degree from Southwest Texas State University (1982):  Major:  English   Minor:  Business Administration
    Graduate Hours and Certification
    from University of Houston in Second Language Acquisition and ESL (1985)
  • 3rd year of teaching in GISD

  • Total of 27 years teaching experience including 19 years of teaching junior high and high school English and ESL in the Houston area, 3 years of teaching Pre-AP English in a junior high in San Marcos, and 3 years of teaching English and ESL in Round Rock.  I also taught ESL and the GED  Exam to recent immigrants on the community college level in Houston.
