WELCOME! to your Family and Consumer Science course. Here are a few
expectations:
- Please come to class on
time, the door will be shut when the bell rings. If you are late without a
pass go directly to your principal and return to class ASAP.
- Please have the necessary
items for this class- paper and pen, your textbook and your
notebook.
- Please do not abuse your
time in my class; take care of your personal errands during your personal
time.
- Hall Passes will be
limited. Please be ready to learn when you get here. Check the board for
instructions/ activities to begin.
- Please sit in your assigned
desk daily; it is much easier for me to see who is here and who is not.
- Please be respectful of
myself and others, especially while I am talking. I want to know you are
listening to me.
- You are responsible for
obtaining make-up work after and absence. Look in the appropriate class
period folder behind my desk. I will not hand it out to you- it is up to you
to get it, complete it and turn it in to me. The
district policy states that you have one extra day per absence to turn in
make-up work. After that time I will apply the district late work policy (10
pts. off for each late day, 3rd day late = zero grade).
It is very simple to do well in this course. Attend, listen, keep up, do
your assignments and projects, review for tests, and care about the quality of your
work. I hope this is a class that you enjoy and that it prepares you for life
outside of these walls. I expect big things from you- please don’t let me
down.
Enjoy
this year. Gather all of the information that you can…it may serve you will
someday! Have Fun!
