1.    Using the PowerPoint “Computer Tree” complete the Hardware/Software Crossword Puzzle to review vocabulary

2.    Take notes, class discussion over “Chapter 2 PowerPoint: Hardware/Software and “Output/Printers” PowerPoint

3.    Answer the questions at the end of each section to check for understanding.

4.    If time permits: MTP Alphabetic Keyboarding

10/2-10/5

1.    Take notes/class discussion over “Storage Basics” PowerPoint

2.    Complete the questions to check for understanding

3.    Complete the crossword puzzle to review the components of a computer vocabulary

1. Warm-up – read and sign the Safety Agreement (“Handout_SafetyAgreement.doc”)

2. Introduce CTE volunteer and let them tell about their job.

3. Have CTE volunteer disassemble/reassemble computer as demo for whole class.

4. Rotate pairs of students to work with Dell volunteer to partially disassemble & reassemble the computer.
