SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS

TOPIC: FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

Seniors:  Remember to turn in your final transcript release before school ends.  Your transcript WILL NOT be sent if you do not request it.

TOPIC: ACC GRADES & TRANSCRIPTS

Please bring your grade reports from ACC to Mrs. Daleiden as soon as possible – PARTICULARLY IF YOU TOOK ECONOMICS THIS SEMESTER!!  Also, Seniors please remember that Mrs. Daleiden needs a transcript from ACC for your permanent record.

TOPIC: SENIOR NHS MEMBERS

Attention all Senior NHS members:  Please see Mrs. Beal as soon as possible if you have not turned in your service hours and picked up your collar for graduation.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

TOPIC: TAKS STUDY GUIDES

There are TAKS study guides for each core subject available in the counselors’ office for any junior or senior student who would like to make up or retake one or more sections of the exit level TAKS test this summer.  The tests will be offered the week of July 15-18.  Please stop by the counselors’ office to pick up a copy of the subject area guide you will need if you plan to take the test during the summer.  This is only for current junior and senior students. 

TOPIC: BLOOD DRIVE

Students, if you have never had the opportunity to give blood, now maybe your chance if you will be 17 years old this summer.  There  will be a blood drive on Saturday July 5th at the City Lights Theatre from 1to 5 pm.  All donors will get a free movie ticket and a chance to win a laptop computer.  So, do more than have a good time this summer:  SAVE A LIFE.   If you would like to volunteer to work the blood drive go by room 42 and sign up with Mrs. Spradlin asap.  (This is not a school sponsored activity.)

 TOPIC: STUDENT MEDICATIONS

If you have over the counter medications in the nurse's office please pick them up before the end of school or they will be thrown away.  All prescription medications will need to be picked up by your parents.  If you have any questions please feel free to stop by the nurse's office.

TOPIC: EAGLE BASEBALL

There will be a send off for the Eagles in front of the field house today at 2:45 p.m.  Come out and cheer the Eagles on in the next round of playoffs.  GOOD LUCK EAGLES!!!

TOPIC: EAGLE FOOTBALL

The annual football Blue & White Spring Game is this Friday at 6:00 pm in the new stadium. This year’s Blue & White t-shirts will be available for purchase during the lunch periods on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. The cost is $10. There are a limited number of shirts available and will be sold on a first-come first-served basis."
