***NEW  The Georgetown Project's annual MLK Youth Service event on Monday, January 19

This starts at  8 a.m. with breakfast goodies and signing up for projects, and service will begin at 8:30 a.m.  We are headquartering this year's event at the Boys & Girls Club and both indoor and outdoor projects will be available.  The event will conclude by noon so that anyone wishing to join in on the MLK March to Macedonia Baptist Church and the community wide unity celebration immediately following the march will be able to do so.  For more info about the MLK Youth Service event, click here.

We're at the GHS Annex (old 9th Grade Center).  They can e-mail or call me to let me know they're coming.  jenningsd@georgetownisd.org or 943-5000 x6884  They don't need parent permission, but they will need transportation. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
 

Seniors to Seniors is an organization for all students interested in interacting with the elderly persons
in the community.
 

• Who: All students grades 10-12
• When: Every Thursday (If you can't make it every Thursday, that is okay too).
• Where: Wesleyan Nursing Home (Nursing home in front of the G-town hospital).
• What time: 4:15-4:30 pm
• What to Bring: Your poker face, because you will be playing some fun games with the residents!
