Eloise Wood Scholarship. Applications are available in the

The APPLIED RESEARCH LABORATORIES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT
AUSTIN (ARL:UT) is a research unit that has been associated with
the university since 1946. Throughout its history, ARL has been
engaged in a sponsored research program dedicated to improving our
national security through applications of acoustics,
electromagnetics, and information sciences. As an organized
research unit reporting to the Vice President for Research, ARL is
engaged in the three traditional roles of a major university:
research, teaching, and public service. The applied research
laboratory offers the Science and Engineering Apprenticeship
Program to graduating high school seniors of Texas high schools.
The purpose is to provide selected students with exposure to
laboratory research and development and to provide incoming
freshmen with an idea of what scientists and engineers do in their
chosen fields. Graduating seniors with an interest in engineering,
computer science, physics, and math and who will attend a senior

St. David's Community Health Foundation has established the W.
Neal Kocurek/St. David's Scholarship Fund to honor its late
president and CEO, Dr. W. Neal Kocurek. We are very excited to
offer scholarship opportunities to graduating seniors in Travis,
Hays, and Williamson counties who are pursuing health-related
careers. These tuition-reimbursement scholarships of up to $4,000
are especially beneficial because they can be renewed annually for
up to 4 years when students maintain appropriate grade point

Cen-Tex Independent Electrical Contractors is looking for
graduating seniors who are interested in an apprenticeship
program. The program is registered with the United States
Department of Labor – Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training and
offers 8000 hours of On-the-job training in electrical
construction in conjunction with 576 hours of related technical
classroom instruction over a four year period. This is a career
development program designed for the entry level worker with
advancement to journeyman status. Salary starts at $9.50 per hour.

juniors and seniors about college. A program called Aggie Shadows allows
