Welcome the the home site for the Georgetown High School Colorguard from Georgetown, TX. We are a Fine Arts organization on campus the combines the art of traditional colorguard equipment and aspects of dance and performance. We are a year round organization. During the Fall, we perform as a part of the GHS Eagle Marching Band. In the Spring, we become our own entity and perform as an award winning Winterguard program. LATEST NEWS: Last Updated: Oct. 14, 2009 => Contest Season almost over: This week will be the GHS Band and Guard’s UIL Contest performance at 6:00pm at the RRISD “Palace” Stadium. Please check the GHS Band Website for up to date information and itineraries. => GUARD FINISHES IN 3rd PLACE AT TCGC State Championships The Georgetown Colorguard finished out their season at the Texas Colorguard Circuit Championships on Saturday April 5, 2008. In a season filled with exciting surprises and success, the colorguard finished an impressive season in the Scholastic AA class with a score of 79.75 and earning the Bronze Medal. We are so very proud of all the accomplishments over the entire season. Congratulations members and staff!!!!! |
