Teachers Present at State Math Conference
Five GISD mathematics teachers, Jeri Bonnell, Marvin Kramer, Sue Long, Melissa Macaluso, and Jessica Oberg, and District Mathematics Coordinator Tricia Rothenberg were selected to present nine sessions at the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT) July 9-11, 2008.

Tippit Teacher Wins National Math Award
Paul Michalik, a mathematics teacher at Tippit Middle School, has been selected as a winner of the Edyth May Sliffe Award for Distinguished Junior High Mathematics Teaching by the Mathematics Association of America.
