Ms. Lang has been with the district since 1998 and has 26 years of teaching and educational experience. Her positions at GISD include the following:

  • 2002-present: Principal, Williams Elementary
  • 2000-2002: Assistant Principal, Carver/Pickett Elementary
  • 1998-2000: Assistant Principal, Benold Middle School

Prior to coming to GISD, she held the following positions:

  • 1995-1998: Assistant Principal, Pflugerville ISD
  • 1990-1995: Math Teacher, Pflugerville ISD
  • 1984-1990: Varsity Basketball Coach, Math Teacher, Round Rock ISD
  • 1983-1984: Varsity Basketball Coach, Math Teacher, Austin ISD
Interests
Ms. Lang has lived in Georgetown over twenty years. She has two energetic sons, Darren who attends University of North Texas, and Garrett, who attends Tippit Middle School.  Ms. Lang enjoys cheering her sons on at their various sporting events, walking, biking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.  She grew up in the Texas Panhandle, is one of eight children, played collegiate basketball at the University of Texas and is an avid Longhorn fan.
