The Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center is a detention center subject to the approval of the Texas Juvenile Detention Association and the Williamson County Juvenile Board. The Juvenile Center is for students who have engaged in conduct suspected to be delinquent according to the law. The students are incarcerated until the court makes a determination.
Both facilities are located in the Williamson County Juvenile Justice Center. All 12 school districts in Williamson County participate in the school.
Educational Program
Teachers certified in the core subjects including reading, special education, ESL, and computer science, lead the school programs at the Academy and the Juvenile Center. The main focus is on teaching students self-discipline, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
The Academy's instruction also includes a military component that is led by drill instructors and Academy officers. Students learn drill and ceremony and have an opportunity to compete as a color guard honor guard. The Academy's primary focus is to establish behaviors, attitudes, and performance levels that allow students to be successful upon their return to their respective district campuses.

- Counseling services

- Assessment Services, including TAKS, KTEA, and TPII testing
