GISD Outperforms State on 2006 TAKS

Georgetown ISD has received 2006 TAKS testing data from the Texas Education Agency.  The results show that students in Georgetown ISD outperformed the statewide percentages meeting standards for the second year in a row. 
 
Georgetown ISD students tested 10% or more above the state in the following areas:
Grade 4 Reading
Grade 5 Reading, Math
Grade 6 Math
Grade 7 Math
Grade 8 Reading Math, Science
Grade 9 Math
Grade 10 Math, Science
Grade 11 Science
 
The spreadsheet shows GISD and State percentages that met standards in each tested area, and the difference in points between the state percentage and the GISD percentage meeting standards.  Congratulations to our students and teachers for their hard work this year.
