Forbes Teacher Named Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year
Valerie Pettiss, a 7th grade math teacher and Math Counts sponsor at Forbes Middle School, was selected as Wal-Mart's Teacher of the Year for this area. She received a shirt and framed certificate, and Forbes received a check for $1000 in her honor.
Congratulations to Mrs. Pettiss on this honor!
