Mr. Lee Wins Chamber of Commerce Award
At their annual banquet, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce presented GISD Superintendent Joe Dan Lee with their Cornerstone Award for Education for his work on behalf of education in Georgetown.
GISD Board of Trustees President Mark Bobinger congratulated Mr. Lee on behalf of the Board by saying, "It is gratifying to know that even those who don't work with you every day fully recognize your strong leadership, commitment to every student, dedication to GISD staff, and the lasting positive impact you will have on the Georgetown community."
"The school district and the community are both very fortunate to have you as their Superintendent of Schools and we deeply appreciate your leadership and the positive way you represent GISD." Congratulations, Mr. Lee, on this prestigious award.
