GISD May 12, 2007 School Board Election Results
In the district’s May 12, 2007 school board election, two new trustees were elected and two existing trustees were re-elected. Incumbent Dr. Sally Pell was re-elected to Place 2. Incumbent Arthur Dela Cruz will return to hold Place 3. The previously open Place 1 seat will be filled by new incoming Trustee Sheila Carter, and new Trustee Mike Hewlett will replace outgoing Place 5 Trustee, William Sattler. Arthur Dela Cruz, Sheila Carter, and Mike Hewlett ran unopposed in the May 12th election.
The Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees is comprised of community members who are elected to serve three year terms. Board members are elected at-large for specific places on the Board.
