Sodexo $5000 Scholarship Opportunity for Students in K - 12
The STOP Hunger Scholarships program allows students to be recognized in the fight against hunger in America. GISD students in grades K - 12 who have positively contributed to the fight against hunger in their community are invited to apply for a scholarship.
Sodexo Foundation created the STOP Hunger Scholarships to recognize and reward the great steps young people are taking to fight hunger in our communities across the country. Through scholarship awards, they are proud to support the education of these giving young people.
Scholarship recipients receive a $5,000 scholarship and a matching $5,000 grant for their hunger-related charity.
In additon, each national scholarship recipient will be recognized at the annual Sodexo Foundation Dinner on June 4, 2009, in Washington, DC. All transportation, meals, and lodging for the student and up to two immediate family members will be paid for by Sodexo.
