GISD Donates Most Food in Food Drive
GISD has received notification from Sodexo, our food services provider, that our district collected the most donations of any school district in the U.S. during the one day Cans Across America food drive on November 12, 2008. Our 11,993 lbs. of food was given to The Caring Place to benefit local families. Congratulations, GISD community!!!
