NCLB Adequate Yearly Progress
Under the accountability provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), all districts, campuses, and the state are evaluated for Adequate early Progress (AYP).
We are pleased to announce that GISD as a district as well as each of our individual campuses has met the 2008 NCLB AYP requirements.
