Thanks for visiting my web page! I am
currently a 4th grade teacher at McCoy Elementary. I grew up in Houston, Texas,
and attended Spring Woods High School in Spring Branch I.S.D.
Education & Teaching Background:
 | I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in December of 2000
with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Learning and Development (Elementary
Education) and a specialization in English. I recently took the
GRE exam in hopes of (one day!) returning to school to further my education. |
| This is my ninth year of teaching, although I spent
January through May of 2000 working as a SOAR aide at McCoy Elementary.
I am also currently certified to teach Gifted and Talented students, as well as English as a
Second Language students. |
| I performed my student observation at Cook Elementary, and my student
teaching requirement at Davis Elementary. Both schools are in Austin,
Texas. |
This year at McCoy, I'll be teaching math and science to
my scholars.
In addition to teaching a 4th grade class,
I am a member of the SAIL team and the Campus Improvement Team. I am also the 4th
grade Math Vertical team representative, the 4th grade team leader and the 4th grade PTA representative.
