Native Americans using books in the library, a website, and online
resources. Follow the steps listed to eventually create a
Power Point booklet about your topic.
Steps Day 1: Watch a United Streaming video (Native Americans- American Heritage Series 20 min.) and learn about Native Americans.Day 2: Go to the library and research in a book about your chosen tribe. Find 7 facts and write them on your note sheet. Day 3: Go to the computer lab to complete your research at this link: Native Americans . Begin to type your facts in Power Point, one fact on each slide (see example) Day 4: Complete your facts and print them out as handouts (see Directions for teacher) Day 5: Assemble and illustrate your booklet.
Books: You can view a list of the books on this topic that are currently in the library by clicking this link: Library Search First click on the "Resource Lists" tab on the left side of the page.
