You will be researching Native Americans using books in the library, a website, and online resources.  Follow the steps listed to eventually create a Power Point booklet about your topic.

Steps

Day 1:  Watch a United Streaming video (Native Americans- American Heritage Series 20 min.) and learn about Native Americans.

Day 2: Go to the library and research in a book about your chosen tribe. Find 7 facts and write them on your note sheet.

Day 3: Go to the computer lab to complete your research at this link: Native Americans .  Begin to type your facts in Power Point, one fact on each slide  (see example)

Day 4: Complete your facts and print them out as handouts (see Directions for teacher)

Day 5: Assemble and illustrate your booklet.

You can view a list of the books on this topic that are currently in the library by clicking this link:   Library Search First click on the "Resource Lists" tab on the left side of the page. Then click on the "Public Lists" tab at the top to view the Native Americans list. Other books are available on the tables in the library.
