Student Council Member Application

You must have this Application signed by a parent/guardian before you may run for Student Council.

 

For President:

¨       Campaign Week is Tuesday, December 4 to Friday, December 7, 2007.

¨    You may display a maximum of 2 Posters (no larger than 22” X 28”).

¨    Posters should describe positive leadership qualities.

¨    No handouts or flyers of any kind are allowed.  Nothing besides normal school supplies may be used on poster (markers, crayons, map pencil, construction paper, glue, scissors).  Computer printouts are allowed (you may print out a picture of yourself or type up your words for your poster).

¨    Your speech may be up to 2 minutes in length, and must highlight your qualities, experience, and desire to do a good job as president.  No props, poems, songs, raps, or cheers will be allowed.

¨    Your posters and a copy of your speech must be turned in to Mrs. Bonnell by Monday, December 3rd.

 

 Posters must be removed from the walls within two days after the election.

 

For all other officers:

¨     Campaign advertising should be displayed with teacher permission in the classroom only.

¨     Campaign should focus on positive leadership qualities.
