Overview: Title I programs were created to enable participating children to achieve challenging state content and performance standards by incorporating certain components that research suggests are essential to any high-functioning program. At Mitchell we utilize in-class and pull out models of student support based on the needs of the individual student. The pull-out program offers prescriptive intervention from the following research based programs: Fast Learning, llc's F.A.S.T. Reading Program, Creative Education Institute's Essential Learning System, and Orchard's Math and Language Arts Skills Trees.
