Welcome to East View High!

Home of the Patriots East View High School opened in the Fall of 2008 as the GISD 9th Grade Campus which was a Texas Education Agency "Recognized" Campus three years in a row. During the 2014-2015 school year, EVHS will host nearly 1500 students in grades 9-12 and be classified as a UIL 5A campus.

  • Junior Class Student and Parent Informational Meeting

    The Counseling Team at EVHS invites you to a Junior Class Student and Parent Informational Meeting the evening of Monday, October 12th, from 6p-7:30p. Counselors will share information pertaining to the college admissions process, transcripts/GPA/rank, and junior year deadlines as well as will have a question and answer forum. A presentation in English will be held in the Library and a presentation in Spanish will be held in the Lecture Hall. Families are encouraged to park in Lot A and enter through the EVHS Front Entrance. We look forward to seeing you there!

    Do you need to make up course credits? We can help. East View High School offers you a 2nd chance to make up your credits through Project 2nd Chance. Project 2nd Chance is a computer based program that allows you to make up lost credits at your own pace. The program begins October 5 and ends November 12. Project 2nd Chance is held Monday through Thursday from 4:00-5:30. There is a nominal fee involved, and bus transportation will be available if needed. Applications are available at the diamond.

  • PSAT Study Guides Are Available - First Come First Served!

    10th & 11th Grade Students: You are scheduled to take the PSAT for free during the morning of Wednesday, October 14th. If you would like a study guide, please come by the entrance of the Counseling Center and pick up one. Remember, results from the PSAT may result in scholarship and recognition opportunities so please pick up your study guide today!

    Attention Seniors- Are you a good citizen? Are you involved on campus and in the community? Then you should apply for the Jack Frost Citizen of the Month Award. Come by Mrs. Abby Ray’s classroom (208), Mrs. Stephen’s room (318) or the counselors’ office to pick up an application OR CLICK THE RED TITLE ABOVE.

  • 2015 Parking Policies for East View

    EVHS parking permits for the 2015-2016 school year are now available. Students must bring valid proof of insurance, driver's license, $25 payment, and the completed parking permit application in order to receive the permit. Please visit Mrs. Diane Perez in the front office for assistance. Click on the Red Title above to view the parking application.

  • Order a Transcript

    Please see the school registrar to order your high school transcript (Ms. Martinez letters A-L / Ms. White letters M-Z) You can also order by email: MartinezN@georgetownisd.org (letters A-L) / WhiteM@georgetownisd.org (letters M-Z). Include the name of the school to which you would like the transcript sent. If the school is out of state, please include the address as well.
