In this chapter (4A), we learned about clothing, places you like to go, reviewed weather, reviewed seasons and reviewed colors. If you have NOT finished your muņeca and turned it in,  get it done NOW! It was worth 3 homework/class work grades! This week we are writing paragraphs about our muņecas due before Spring Break!

Welcome to Seņorita Fishel's Spanish 1 home page for the 2009-2010 school year!  I am a Spanish teacher at the Georgetown 9th Grade Campus in Georgetown, TX.

Welcome to the 9th grade! We're going to have a fantastic year filled with lots of fun!!!

Education & Teaching Background:

  • B.A. Spanish, B.S. Biology from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN
  • This is my FIRST year at GISD! I'm so excited to be here!
  • I was previously a Spanish teacher at Manor High School in Manor, TX.

Here are our course objectives for Spanish 1:

  • Students will become familiar with the culture and geography of the Spanish-speaking world.
  • Students will listen, speak, read, and write in Spanish on a beginning to intermediate level using correct grammar.
  • Students will prepare themselves for real world experiences using Spanish (mainly through the use of projects that involve speaking proficiency).
