Education & Teaching Background:

  •   Bachelors of Science with a Major in Dance from Texas State University
  •   Second year in the GISD
  •   Taught for 6 years in dance studios before deciding to go into the public school system
  •   Coach of an All-Star Hip Hop Team

  •   Bachelors of Science with a Major in Dance Minor in History from Texas Tech University
  •   Second year in the GISD
  •   Taught at Temple High School for 7 years and was the head director for the Kittens
  •   20 Years experience teaching

Contact Information:

This year, our class will be learning about:

  •   Basic dance skills such as turns, leaps, and choreography
  •   Fitness and flexibility
  •   Performance skills such as audience etiquette and stage etiquette.
  •   We will be exploring all different styles of dance such as Folk and Social, Ballet dance, Jazz dance, Modern, Hip hop, and Character/Stage Performance.
