Information
Mission Statement
To
guarantee that every student acquires knowledge, masters skills, and develops
talents to be a responsible citizen in the 21st Century through the
commitment and support of educators, parents, and the community.
Principal: Dave Denny

Education:
Bachelor of Science from Texas A & M
Masters of Science from East Texas State
Mr. Denny has been an educator for over 28 years, the last
seven years as principal of Thorndale High School. In addition, he was an
administrator with Conroe ISD at Caney Creek High School for six years and
served as two years as assistant principal at Lake Dallas ISD, including filling
in as acting high school principal for the final three months of school. Mr.
Denny taught science for over 14 years.
Mr. Denny is married to Melanie Denny, Financial Director
of Williamson. They have two sons, Davis and Devin. His interests include
reading, movies, sports, and all things Aggie maroon and white.
Associate Principal: Charles
Aguillon

Education:
Bachelor of Music Education, Texas State University-San Marcos
Master of Music Education, Texas State University-San Marcos
Master of Education in Administration and Supervision, University of Phoenix
Charles Aguillon is beginning his 16th year as an educator and his 13th year
in Georgetown ISD. Mr. Aguillon began his career in GISD as a band director on
the first faculty at Benold Middle School. From there he moved to Georgetown
High School where he served as associate band director and head band director.
In 2004, he was appointed Director of Fine Arts for GISD, a position he
currently holds along with being Associate Principal for the Ninth Grade Campus.
Mr. Aguillon’s wife, Vanessa, is the technology facilitator at Jo Ann Ford
Elementary where their two sons, Noah and Brandon attend. The Aguillons enjoy
traveling to Walt Disney World at least once a year.

Counselor's Corner
The GHS Ninth Grade Campus has two school counselors,
Sherry George and Jim Colbert. Students are assigned to a counselor according
to their last name. Parents may contact their student’s counselor during the
school day at 943-1800, extension 8018 for Miss George (students L-Z) and
extension 8022 for Mr. Colbert (students A-K). If parents are unsure which
counselor works with their student, they may call either the receptionist, Mrs.
Evans, at 943-1800 or the counselor’s secretary, Mrs. Narrell, at ext 1802.
Hours & Schedule
The NGC operates on an A day/B day schedule year-round. Periods 1, 2, 3
& 4 are held on A days, and Period 5, 6, 7 & 8 are held on B days.
