Next Quiz: 02/24 and Chapter 13 - Evolution and Natural Selection

Core Biology students should expect to have homework assigned every class period. The Biology Binder will go from school to home and will contain all assignments, including pages from the Student Study Guide. It is very important that students keep up with the pace of class by doing the outside readings and homework, and coming to class prepared with all necessary materials.

Only 2 late assignments will be accepted each grading period. 10 points will be deducted for each calendar day an assignment is late, up to 2 days. After 2 days (one block) the assignment will earn a 0. For example, if an assignment is due on Monday, it can be turned in Tuesday for a deduction of 10%, or it can be turned in for a 20% deduction on Wednesday, at the beginning of class. After that, the assignment will be recorded as a 0.

We will be emphasizing organizational and study skills as we proceed through the year, in an effort to provide you with the tools necessary for a successful high school career.
