Battle of the Books!
2010

If you enjoy
reading great books mixed up
with a little friendly
competition, Battle of the
Books is just for you! Pickett
Elementary is excited to
participate in the GISD
elementary Battle of the Books
Bluebonnet competition! Five
schools, including Pickett,
will meet on May 4 to see who
is the Bluebonnet champion!
The other 4 schools
participating are Mitchell,
McCoy, Williams, and Cooper.
All Pickett
participants must read the
required
list of books by
March 23: |

The GT Fit 5K /1K
Fun Run is scheduled for
February 27, 2009
Registration forms (English and
Spanish) will be at the sent home in
the students’ weekly folders.
