I am an ACCELL  teacher at Pickett Elementary. 

Education & Teaching Background:

bulletI received my Bachelor of Science degree at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas.
bulletI am in my 21st year of teaching in Georgetown (McCoy and Pickett).
bulletMy earliest teaching assignment was 2nd grade for 3 1/2 years in Midland, Texas.
bulletI taught 5th grade for 18 years, specializing in math and science for the last few years.

What is ACCELL?

ACCELL is a program that provides extra instruction in math, reading, and/ or 5th grade science.  Students qualify for small group instruction based on their district benchmark/checkpoint  test scores, state test scores, screenings, and/or teacher recommendations.
