Welcome to my home page! I am a 5th grade Math and Science teacher at
Pickett Elementary.
Education & Teaching Background:
- Education: I have a Masters of Education from Texas State
University. My undergraduate degree is from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison; B.S. Elementary Education with minors in Spanish and
Afro-American Studies.
- This will be my fourth year teaching 5th Grade Math and Science in
Georgetown ISD.
- I am state certified in both ESL and Gifted and Talented.
- I am a member of the Region XIII Science Collaborative which requires
teachers to receive an additional 105 hours of training in the Sciences.
- I earned my Williamson County Master Gardener certificate this year!
I also am a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas.
- Other teaching experience: Three years teaching fifth grade in Round Rock ISD.
