Overview

Music is a great way for students to express themselves.  We will be learning about composers, beat, rhythm, instruments, singing and listening to music from various periods of history.  Activities will include singing, playing instruments, playing recorder (4th and 5th grades), poetry, sound stories, and lots more.

Each grade level will perform a music program during the school year.  Please visit our News and Events page to see when they are scheduled.

Music services offered through GISD:

Band orchestra, and choir starts in 6th grade.
