Overview
Our computer labs at Pickett
contain 26 personal computers (Dell Optiplex). Our teachers strive to
integrate technology as useful instructional tools into all areas of the
curriculum. Each student is afforded many opportunities to learn through
utilizing our technology.
The computer programs we use at our school range from common
business applications to educational software.

prepared by the Texas Center for Educational Technology, and are linked from
their web site. Click on the links below to download these
documents.
The Technology Applications TEKS are organized by
grade clusters. Students should demonstrate proficiency with specific grade
cluster TEKS before they exit the target grades 2, 5, and 8. At the high
school level, opportunities for in-depth study of technology are offered through
a variety of courses.
