Dr.Pamela Owens, Senior Paleontology Educator from UT Texas Memorial Museum. The presentation about Bones and Animal Adaptations was awesome.

During Social Studies, we learn about Explorers. After the students research an explorer of their choice, they work on our Hanger Project, to present their findings.

Math gave us the opportunity to create a bridge using different types of angles. The students work in teams and the winner of the challenge was Team 1. The members of this team are: Jonathan Lopez, Briseida Navarro, Alejandro Morales and Raul Vasquez.

Also, we found angles around the school and create angles with our hands. We have lots of fun!

Symmetry was a fun lesson too. We use lots of paint and our fingers to create wonderful symmetric art pieces.

Science gave us the changes to dissect and owl pellet. After we build the skeleton we compare the rat skeleton to the human skeleton.

We also compare Bats and Birds as part of our Reading, based on the book "Stellaluna".

Charlotte's Web: After we finish reading the novel and watching the two movies, we compare all three using a three way Venn Diagram.

Our October writing project was to decorate a mini pumpkin and turn it into the main character for our next composition.
