Pickett Elementary is a 2009 TEA Recognized campus. We proudly serve over 400 students in grades 3-5 in Georgetown, Texas. TEA has recognized Pickett Elementary as a 2009 Gold Performance School.

Battle of the Books!
2010

If you enjoy reading great books mixed up with a little friendly competition, Battle of the Books is just for you! Pickett Elementary is excited to participate in the GISD elementary Battle of the Books Bluebonnet competition! Five schools, including Pickett, will meet on May 4 to see who is the Bluebonnet champion! The other 4 schools participating are Mitchell, McCoy, Williams, and Cooper.

All Pickett participants must read the required list of books by March 23:

Box Tops for Education
Please collect as many Box Top labels as you possibly can and send to school with your child. We use the money to purchase educational items for our students.
