Extended Care Programs :: After School Action Program

The After School Action Program (ASAP) provides middle school youth with safe after school alternatives that promote responsibility and healthy decisions. A variety of activities are offered that challenge students both mentally and physically to reach their goals.

All GISD middle school 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are encouraged to register. A parent or legal guardian must register his/her student(s) in person at his/her school. Class sizes are limited so early registration is recommended.

Programs offered through ASAP include activities such as tutoring, drama, dance, martial arts, club time, and outdoor recreation.

ASAP is funded by a federal grant through the Office of National Drug Control Policy and is locally supported by The Georgetown Project, GISD, Georgetown Parks and Recreation, and the Williamson County Art Guild.
